Steve & Jane
Jane: Calm serene and wise guidance to all, organizer, photographer, RFA Secretary for many years. Steve: Eastern Pilot and RFA navigator he refereed moves and recorded RFA moves through all his years. Loyal and faithful to the young and old always accepting of new talent and old tradition. A friend to all.

Our rocket scientist and genealogy author has gone on. He was loyal to the RFA all his years and a great attender. A founding member of the RFA and also received the founders award.

Margaret
Margret Reep was one of the best attendees of Reep family meetings. Capable and confident, she supported all her family and extended family with her pleasant demeanor and beautiful smile.

Bertha
Bertha, a loyal RFA member and board member, won the Founders Award in 1994. She established a legacy for her family as many of them are involved with the RFA today. A strong woman indeed.

Louis and Allene
Louis and Allene were loyal to every RFA meeting. People you could count on. Louis co-authored two books, “Reep Family History of N.C.” first and second version. He also received the RFA Founders Award.

Huitt was a strong supporter of the RFA holding offices and relishing the social aspects of the organization.
Huitt leaves behind a strong group of people equally interested. His NC rooted crowd has positive movements in mind for the organization. We thank him and his family.

Jim
We have lost our ships keel. Our dear historian, Jim, has gone on from this world.
His interest, time, pickup truck full of memorabilia and sharpness for research has been the engine of the RFA ship.
When we needed genealogy advice, guidance on association affairs or wisdom not clouded by emotion, I always knew I could turn to Jim.
Rest peacefully in heaven, Jim. Our relative and friend.

The Founder. Reynold Reep
Reynold F. Reep of Honolulu, Hawaii founded the Reep Family Association on July, 4th 1973, along with thirteen other charter members. The organization was incorporated in 1987. Reynold was married to the former Hannah Munn Yee Chee & has one son, Gary, & four grandsons. Reynold served in the US Marines, Army & Air Force, retiring in 1974. His dedicated interest in Reep family genealogy spanned more than 26 years until his death in 1996
History
The association is a non profit, genealogical organization composed of families & individuals bound together by a common interest in the Reep
Family surname.
The organization was founded on July 4th, 1973, by Reynold F. Reep, along with 13 other charter members. Included in the charter group were Betty Parker-Hillard, the association's first Secretary and Vonda Moore, one of the association's first Vice Presidents.
The association, incorporated in 1987, is operated by six officers who are part of an eleven member board of directors elected from the membership for two year terms.
Membership is open to anyone who completes a RFA application for membership, pays the appropriate current rate of dues & agrees to abide by the association bylaws.

Our 2022 reunion itinerary is as follows:
Saturday, July 9
•12:30pm – We will gather at the Lincoln Cultural Center (403 East Main Street, Lincolnton), visit the Lincoln County Historical Museum, and the Reep Family Association (RFA) archive collection.
•1:30-4:00pm - After the tour, we can split up and head over to the Lincoln County Catawba Valley Pottery Market (https://facebook.com/events/s/lincoln-county-catawba-valley-/534154964871575/), browse downtown shops, or visit local landmarks (Lincolnton NC downtown (downtownlincolnton.com))
•5pm-8pm – Join the RFA Reunion Dinner Meeting at Messiah United Methodist Church (4102 W. NC Hwy 27, Vale), get reacquainted, and discuss RFA updates.
Sunday July 10
•Morning – Spend your time as you like, catch up with family, or attend a local worship service.
•1:00-3:00pm – Join us for a Pot-Luck lunch at Bethphage Lutheran Church (4060 Highway 182, Lincolnton) before departing for home.
